Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Expect high winds, and extreme winter conditions. 50 mile an hour winds is very common. Trail is almost always hard pack. The summit rocks are usually very slick with rime ice. Most of the rocks will be bare from snow because of high winds.
Misc. - Wright is usually climbed with Algonquin and Iroquois, both of which are part of the MacIntyre Range. There was a B-47 wreck on this mountain back in 1962 where four airmen lost their lives. There is a bronze plaque just north of the summit, memorializing that very spot.
