#102 - Wilmington Peak

Catamount from the ridge route
Access - State Land from N, S, W, E. Route - Bushwhack from all sides. Summit - Wooded no views Quad - Wilmington. Mountain Range - Wilmington Range. Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Good chance the trail into Cooper Kill Pond will be broken and pretty hard packed by skiers. Keep in mind the bushwhack will be unbroken. Misc. - This peak is one of the 2 that are controversial, whether they should have been on the list or not. It's actually a nice hike, you should try it. Combine it with Morgan and you've got yourself an excellent half day in the woods. This peak is unnamed on maps-we refer to it as such because of the range it's in. It's located behind Cooper Kill Pond along the ridge. This is one of the two peaks we are substituting for Dun Brook.
