Access - State Land from N, S, E, W. Route - Herdpath from W. Summit - Wooded. Quad - Keene Valley. Mountain Range - No specific range. Located directly N of Marcy. Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Views are much nicer in winter with snow pack. The ridge has numerous vistas. Misc. - The name derives from its characteristic look-having a flat table like summit. Most climbers miss out on the amazing views of Basin and the Haystacks located just beyond the wooded summit.
