Access - State Land from S, E. Private from N, W. Route - State Trail from rte 30 along Indian Lake. Summit - Somewhat open, best views from fire tower. Quad - Indian Lake. Mountain Range - Snowy Mountain Wilderness. Winter access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Excellent climb in the winter, very steep and icy near the top. Will almost always find a nice base from frequent climbers. Misc. - Named from its appearance in winter, and its reputation of getting a ton of snow. This is a challenging climb any time of year. It has an ascent of over 2000', more than alot of the High Peaks.
