Access - State Land from N, S, E, W. Route - Herdpath from Ward Brook Trail and Donaldson. Summit - Open with views. Quad - Ampersand Lake. Mountain Range - Sewards. Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Is approached most often by itself in winter. However, some used Calkins Brook as an approach to the ridge. Misc. - Calkins Brook is becoming the most popular route into this range, with a herd path very obvious now, it makes the approach much shorter.
