Access - State Land from N, S, E, W. Route - Bushwhack from all sides. Summit - Wooded with views. Quad - Ampersand Lake. Mountain Range - Sawtooth. Winter access - Yes, same as non-winter access.An approach from the North is the most logical route. Expect it to be unbroken-unless you get real lucky. Misc. - The second highest peak in the range behind the obvious #1. This peak is also referred to as Cutter, as in the tooth of a saw. The range is named after its saw like appearance. #2 is very often combined with a bushwhack to #1, but it's a very long and rough day.
