Access - State Land from N,S,E,W.
Route - Bushwhack from all sides.
Summit - Wooded, nice views from shelf on summit ridge.
Quad - Wakely Mountain.
Mountain Range - Moose River Plains.
Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Cedar River road is closed in winter from the snowmobile parking area, making for a very long day. Got skis? Got snowmobile? You'll need one or the other to make this a day trip. Even then you'll be in the dark on both ends of the day.
Misc. - Little Moose? Where's Big Moose? One of those odd things. There are a couple approaches, but beware of beaver ponds and damed up areas. It really slows down a day, if not making it come to a complete hault. Oh, the black flies breed here-invest in some deet.
