Access - State Land from N,S,E,W. Route - Bushwhack from all directions. Also a slide option. Summit - Wooded, killer views from small ledge below summit. Quad - Lake Placid. Mountain Range - Sentinel. Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. However the best approach this time of year is from Monument Falls. But that doesn't mean it's going to be broken for you, but there's a better chance. Misc. - Kilburn is the tallest peak in the Sentinel Range and offers the best views of all. There is a slide on the lower shoulder of Kilburn that skiers use in winter and many hikers just climb that and call it a day. That's the best advice I can offer. It's thicker than thick above the slide and the approach to Kilburn is more of the same.
