Access - State Land from N,S,W,E. Route - Herdpath and bushwhack. Summit - Wooded with low trees. There is some rocks to relax on and the views are decent. Quad - Wilmington. Mountain Range - Wilmington Range. Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. However there is an approach from the toll road in winter months only. The road is closed to hikers during open season. Misc. - This peak was named after Esther McComb, who made the first recorded climb of this peak at 15, when getting lost trying to climb Whiteface. There is a tablet (pictured above) on the summit in her memory. There was once ski trails cut to the summit of this peak, but they can no longer be found. Topomap
