Access - State Land from N,S,E,W. Route - Bushwack from all sides. Summit - Wooded no views. Quad - Wakely Mtn. Mountain Range - Moose River Plains. Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. However Cedar River Road is closed at the snowmobile turn around adding an overwhelming amount of walking to the trip. If you want to do this in winter consider skiing it, or hitching a ride on a snowmobile. Misc. - Officially the shortest of the 100 highest to climb. Round trip 1/2 mile, maybe a little more but not much. A good 4x4 can drive within 1/4 mile of the summit along an old jeep road-keep in mind this old jeep road is OLD-and very rough, could become impassable at any time. Topomap
