Access - State Land from N,S,E,W. Route - Bushwhack from all directions. Summit - Wooded, no views. Quad - Indian Lake. Mountain Range - Snowy Mountain Wilderness. Winter access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Which ever direction you choose, chances are you'll have to break trail. Misc. - Blue Ridge gets its name from the look the spruce has on the hue of the mountainside. There is a plane wreck located on the shoulder of this peak that is often visited and memorialized. This route makes for a very popular approach to this peak.
