Access - State Land from S,E. Private ownership from N,W.
Route - State trail from W. Trail is over private land with public easement. There is an obvious maintenance road up the N side of the mountain. Even though it looks like an excellent alternative for a loop, it is private and off limits to hikers without permission.
Summit - Rocky summit with limited views. Firetower on top offers 360 degree views. Radio tower and old observers cabin.
Quad - Blue Mountain Lake.
Mountain Range - No specific Range. South of Fishing Brook Range.
Winter Access - Yes, same as non-winter access. Winter is the best time to climb this peak. It's to busy with climbers in the summer. The summit is much prettier in winter, kind of masks all the stuff.
Misc. - This has a tower on the summit, but the cab is locked out to the public. It's currently being used as a radio tower. However, climbers can still reach the last level just under the door. Great views of the Fishing Brook Range, and Blue Mountain Lake. The old observers cabin still sits just over the summit, next to a new radio tower building.
